I'm Darren Smith, founder and principal of the Sarina Reese Insurance Agency.  I entered the insurance arena in 2007 as a personal lines insurance agent for a Fortune 500 company and worked there for 8 years, growing a sizable and profitable book of business.  I left there to take a territory management role with another national carrier, gaining experience by working with and coaching several agency owners.  I've long known my professional calling in life is helping others finding solutions for their every day needs, and I've always dreamed of steering my own ship. 

Like many of you, I'm a father, a husband, a homeowner and take an active role in my kids' lives.  I am a graduate of Gettysburg College with a BA in Management and I also played both football and baseball while there.  When not at work, I can often be found behind the wheel of my car taking my daughters to practice, classes, and coaching softball.  I love cooking, movies, music, water skiing, golf, sports, exercise and travel, having been to 43 of the 50 states in this great country of ours.  Rain or shine, every day for me begins with an early morning, 30 minute walk with my dog, Willow.
